Avatar

James Cameron's Avatar has to be the best film of the year. No movie in my life rocked my socks like that did. It was beautiful, spiritual, and totally epic in every sense of the word. Everyone should go see this movie, get a t-shirt, and pain themselves blue.

My mission in life. Plus a beautiful Asian man in fright. Hey, that rhymed!

Hyde and Ken go to a Haunted House. Poor Haido, he gets scared at every turn.

I've decided my new goal in life is to either be a matchmaker and make Steve Ward fall for me (resulting in either us having our own reality show or me joining Tough Love as a consultant) or somehow getting Jacoby Shaddix to sing a Disney song with me. In public. We could cover Celine Dion's version of "Beauty and the Beast". If neither of these come to pass, then going to a Haunted House with Hyde will do.

Get it, V!

Alright, my boy V Sevani, formerly of NLT, was MIA for a while until he began updating his facebook and twitter like crazy, uploading video diaries, songs, and great videos like Love Pop. Check this vid out! I almost cried from the awesomeness of it!!

update

Got my wisdom teeth taken out on Tuesday. That was probably the best experience of my life until I woke up. I didn't even know I passed out until I woke up with the gauze in my mouth. It's been a sucky ride since I've been home, but whatever, the drugs they put me on are amazing at times. I even forgot what I came here to do. Well....ta-ta.

Great vids and t-shirts (basically promoting YGOTAS)

Lol Kaiba and Marik are on a blimp. FYi: this vid has explicit lyrics. Joey channels his inner Lady Gaga and tells us of his Brooklyn Rage. Yugi's tired of everyone shoving him aside for Yami and DBZ, so he writes a rap to share his feelings and announce his triumphant return while Yami explains how he became of Phresh Pharoh of Bel-Air (yes, I spelled it correctly). Seto also puts in his brother hours and takes Mokuba to the dentist.

If you like anime, abridged series, or videogame humor, check out this merchandise. I found about seven t-shirts that will be bought as soon as I get a card with some money on it. Or convince someone to do it for me.

Also, for my sake at least, please, please, plase vote for CardGamesFTW, LittleKuriboh's current YouTube account, on this site by using your Twitter or Facebook accounts in the Funniest YouTube channel category. You can vote once a day, which I'm totally doing. LK totally deserves an award for his stuff.

DBSK's Hero

Hero from DBSK is so adorable in this vid! He messes up about 3 times in this vid, but his face is so cute when he realizes it!

Koreans, abriding, and gaming, oh my!

Thanks to my girl, Kathleen, and her girl, Stehpanie, two Korean bands have been brought to my attention. DBSK is a 5-member boyband and yes, there is a hot, girly-looking guy involved. I bet if my dad and Grammy watched their video "Rising Sun" they could find said-hot guy without even having to ask. I also like the videos "Mirotic" and "Triangle"; these boys sure know how to dance. There are also these girls called After School that are being called the Korean Pussycat Dolls, except they seem more like a group instead of just one singer with backup dancers. Their video, "Ah", reminds me a lot of PCD'S "Don't Cha", so I agree.
I've been following Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series for a few months now and it has almost destroyed my life completely. This genius series is a fandub created by LittleKuriboh and has made quite a commotion on YouTube. I personally think it's absolutely amazing! Here's the first episode. LK just put up episodes 43 and 44. There's also a DBZ abridged called Team Four Star, which is also great.
I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for almost a week now and it's totally awesome. That's all I have to say on the subject.

"Beautiful Nightmare" Travis Garland vid

Travis Garland, former member of NLT and forever keeper of my heart, has finally realeased the YouTube video of "Beautiful Nightmare", his remix of Beyonce's "Sweet Dream". This is a very, very good video and it knocked my socks off! Please, please, please watch, rate, and comment it.

Eddie Cibrian on CSI: Miami

I just found out last night that Eddie Cibrian, Leanne Rimes' alleged beau, is joining the already smoking cast of CSI: Miami. This does nothing but frustrate me. Does CSI: Miami really need to add another hot guy to the show? We already know this show is amazing, they don't have to bring in another stud. I'm about to have a heartattack; Adam Rodriguez, Jonathan Togo, and Eddie Cibrian all working in the lab together? I'm about to reconsider my career options.

Latest with the Greatest

Loads of stuff to talk about today, so hang tight.

Two weeks ago (or was it one?) I got my high school diploma. I officially never have to go back to my sorry high school again. I'm very, very happy about that.

Friday, I got my license. Didn't have to take the driver's test or anything. I've been using my four-wheeled independence a lot lately, and I'm enjoying every minute of it! Of course, I drive to my job, my friend's places, and to various stores to spend the money people are giving me in congratulations.

Speaking of work, I got my first job at Blockbuster! No fast food for me. I've been an official employee since Thursday, but only really worked Friday and Saturday. Can't wait to get my first paycheck and blow it on something meaningless like I deserve to.

Devin, my lovable, but occasionally infuriating, guy best friend, is bothering me. I've been on him about sending me pics of him, and he usually just whines about how if I could get pic mail he'd send me some. He finally uploaded some on his myspace, one of him, and one of his heifer of a new gf. I love the boy to death, but he knows his destiny and keeps denying it. He's somehow always falling "in love". He hasn't even dated this broad for a week, and he thinks he loves her. If he texts me and says they're getting married, I'll have to go fix this problem.

Tokio Hotel

Tokio Hotel's new song + video "Automatic" is great. I love it, even though I liked the sound of their last album better. The boys look good, sound good, and I can't wait for their next update.

New Moon and my assessment

This is the New Moon trailer as shown from the MTV VMA's. This trailer is amazing, I get chills just from watching it. At first my friends and I were like 'No, we're not seeing this movie in theatres with all of the changes and bad casting' which is what I said last time, but after seeing this trailer we all decided to see the midnight showing again. This trailer absolutely thrilled me; I'd get chills during the movie if they just played that song the entire time. For some reason, when they cast for Twilight movies it looks like bad casting but after you see them act, it fits. I still wish Ben Barnes was Aro and the werewolf pack was hotter, but maybe they can impress me and make me a She-Wolf or something.
And the action! The trailer was enough to make me want to run around a building. Bella has that awesome rescue scene for Edward, Laurent friggin' knocks out a werewolf like a twig, and all those vampire vs. vampire fight scenes! I didn't like Twilight's fighting scenes, but these look superb.
This may sound vain, but almost everyone agrees with me on this in their heart of hearts, the Twilight series demands a beautiful cast and casting delivers well. I'm half in love with every male character in that movie: Jasper, Jacob, sometimes Edward, Carlise, James, even Charlie found himself a fangirl in me. I hope Travis looks like Charlie when he gets older, 'cause I'd have no problem whatsoever coming home every day to that!
New Moon also mends ties; I am no longer irritated by Dakota Fanning. Usually she bothers me but now she can roll with me anytime, as long as she wears those contacts.
I am ready for this movie and will be at the movies at 10 pm for the midnight show or earlier so we can actually get good seats this time. And if the fangirls keep squealing at all the partial nudity like they did when Edward made his first appearance in Twilight, I WILL be going to jail after the movie. I'm excited now!

I think Brad Pitt has redeemed himself

I don't care what Brad, Angelina, or even Jen said about "the incident", but I haven't been happy with Brangelina since then. Angie has yet to prove herself, but Brad redeemed himself with his talk of a "gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform," if he ever ran for political office. Here's a vid of him talking about it and he makes very good points.

Smell ya later, high school!

I PASSED MY ECONOMICS CLASS WITH A D!!! I'm probably the only person to be soo happy with a D, but I was so convinced that I failed and would have to go back to high school for 4 months! I'm officially the only person in my family that I know of to graduate high school early. I'm really, really proud of myself, and I'm glad I had my family and friends there to support me and remind me of what I could be when I lost hope and was ready to quit. Thanks everyone!

Yeppers

I'm slowly gathering followers on Twitter, and it's kind of weird. I outta make one for Whoopism just because. Maybe then more Whoopists will join Twitter and then follow me as well. This might be a good idea.
My friends and I are going to the lake tomorrow for some much needed girl time and day off. Just my best friends, the water, and no toddlers running around playing 'Who can make Kayla snap first?', and that is a recipe for personal happiness. We actually planned this trip (first time ever) so hopefully things will go smoothly.
I finished my Economics class on Tuesday, but idk if I actually graduated, passed the class, or will get a curve in high school, so please don't email or comment this post asking about it. I'm gonna miss my class with the funny students and the Lecker-like teacher.

New discovery

I've come to the conlusion that all German bands look alike. Why do I say that, you ask? Exhibit A: Tokio Hotel. German pop/rock band that hit mainstream American music last year. Exhibit B: Cinema Bizarre, another German electropop/rock band that is being introduced to American by Lady Gaga. To be fair, these new guys are pretty awesome musically, and I kind of understand them while they're talking better than I can Tokio Hotel. Now don't get me wrong, if these two get in a fight, I'm team Tokio, but I still like both of them. Check out Cinema Bizarre's "Forever or Never" (Joy and Josi might not want to watch this one) and "Escape to the Stars".

The Most Heartbreaking Elimination

Derrick "Tripp" Tribbett of VH1's Daisy of Love was eliminated, much to my displeasure. Although I didn't expect Sinister to win Daisy's heart on Daisy of Love, I did hope he'd get appreciated for the crap he put up with to make her happy. When he got eliminated, I saw a genuine person get their heartbroken, and I felt my heart break in return. I almost cried, not because I thought they would've worked or because he was one of my favorites, but because he spent time on someone who didn't feel the same way. He was very emotionally invested in that potential relationship and I hope he will find someone that will appreciate the hard work and time he puts in for his woman. This elimination hurt me more than Cage's (another genuine person) or when London left (another favorite). When VH1 decides to cast for Sinister of Love or the double show I'm sure he and Chi Chi will get, I'm totally auditioning, even if I have to lie about my age to get on. Tripp, I hope you find that girl that will love you for you.

I'm a traitor

Even though I have verbally trashed Twitter to my friends and family, I have gotten a Twitter account and started posting today. Sorry myspace. I'm actually surprised myspace hasn't sent hitmen after me since I've betrayed it with both Facebook and Twitter (even though I never check my Facebook). Anyway this is the link to my Twitter and I think everyone should follow me just so I look important on that site.
I finally saw How to Rob a Bank with Gavin Rossdale last night. I actually liked it a lot, even though the beginning messed me up. I also saw Love and Other Disasters lat night again, lovely movie. I love Brittany Murphy for some reason, especially as Jacks. Nightmare Before Christmas (my all-time favorite movie) is coming on tonight. I think I've fallen in love with Daddy's tv, since it happens to show my favorite movies ALL THE TIME.
I'm about to become an only child again. Brandon threw my phone at me this morning while I was sleeping this morning and has treated me like crap since we got to Austin. I swear, if we weren't at my dad's place and I didn't have respect for my step-mom, I'd give Brandon a wedgie and lock him in a small closet. I mean really, who throws phones at people? (Note: I am NOT this violent towards regular people, it's just my brother. And the toddlers my aunt drags around that can't stay out of people's rooms.)

Recent news

I have recently discovered the Whitest Kids U Know, thanks to Shelby and Justin, and I have fallen in love with these people. They got me with the "Dinosaur rap" and thanks to the Slow Jerk, I'm committed. Please don't watch if you don't have a good sense of humor.
I'm a student at a community college starting in July, yay!! I might stay and take a few more courses, but I doubt it. Oh well, it's nice to dream.
Summer is here, graduation is over, and work is about to begin. Four of us are going to start a summer house cleaning business to make some money, just as soon as we make those business cards and flyers.

Video time!

V Factory debuted their first music video rcently and it's pretty awesome. Their moves are sick and, of course, they sing well. Here's the vid "Lovestruck".
NLT might be "dead and gone", the boys aren't wasting any time getting back into the entertainment business. My boy JJ Thorne is in Johnny Wright's new band One Call (Johnny Wright has managed bands like Nsync and the new Menudo). His new bandmates are Chris and Jose from Menudo... and a guy who looks like a blonde Travis. We'll see how this goes, but I wish them the best.
One Call is covering a song by Se7en called "Them Girls", which is really good. He's Korean btw, but everyone thinks he's black when they hear him.

DOL guys

It's been a few weeks since Daisy of Love started, but I already love it. Daisy just eliminated the last of the guys I wanted gone and I have my personal favorites: Flex, London, Chi Chi, Cage, 12 Pack, and Sinister. Weirdly enough, I knew of Sinister and his band Makeshift Romeo before I even knew Bret Michaels. In fact, here's a video of them performing my favorite song "Way I Was". You should check them out, they're good.

The worst day in a while

Today is officially the worst day ever; it tops my mom leaving, finding out Nick wasn't going to come back, and even I found out that I'd have to take math as an elective. The only thing that could make this any worse is if Papa Roach and A7X made the same decision.
NLT, my favorite boyband and even one of my favorite bands ever, has announced their disbandment. They've been on hiatus for a while and have been working on various projects, but some of us still held on to the hope of an album and another tour. Travis explains it all in his blog. From what I can assume, Travis will still make music (thank God; if he quit I'd have to go to L.A. for an intervention), Kevin will still be in Glee, and JJ and V will probably still dance in some things.
I will miss this band terribly. I had a great time at their concert last year, loved all of the boys, and have loyally crammed their music into my iPod. Maybe one day, when everything's right, they can get back together. Maybe not. I hope so, but more than that, I hope they continue to follow their dreams and keep connected with who they are as people. I'm an NLT fan for life and that won't change.

New show

With Rock of Love over and I Love Money 2 getting on my nerves, it was time to find a new reality show, preferably with guys. Daisy of Love, somehow, came to my rescue. I didn't watch Rock of Love 2 very much, so I don't really have much against Daisy; I'm just wondering how she got a reality show when Heather's been whoring around 3 shows and still doesn't have her own. I went online and saw Daisy's candidates and GOODNESS!!!, the Swedish triplets were sent from heaven! There were some other hot guys, but they took the cake. I knew I was definietly watching DOL, at least until the triplets were eliminated.
The show premiered tonight and, true to my word, I watched it. My golden boys were sent home almost immediately!! They mostly came to eat and drink, yeah, but they were open to dating Daisy. She said she sent them home because dating all three of them, like they offered, was kinda gross. Uh, VH1, I would've gladly taken all of them!! We could've been the spin-off and made reality show history!! Oddly enough, I'll still keep watching the show and maybe these guys will change my mind.

Last night's concert...

... was both a physical hell (I can't describe it any other way) and an amazing slice of heaven for me. I got pretty roughed up during the concert: I got beer spilled on me, got shoved and pulled, had crowd surfers thrown at my head, and got jabbed in my back and sides. Despite all of my physical suffering, I had the best time I've had since the last Papa Roach concert. Whenever I'm at a rock show, I can completely let loose and scream out my anger, pain, sorrow, whatever the song reminds me of. I can jump around and sing to my favorite bands and watch them have a good time as well. It is truly an amazing experience.
The first band to perform was Rev Theory, formerly known as Revelation Theory. They had a lot of good energy and stage presence, plus they had good songs. Yes Grammy, they had hot guys in the band, so I might be a little biased. Papa Roach was next, and it was probably the best performance I've seen of theirs. They performed great songs and interacted with the crowd well; I think they were one of the most real bands there. My boys from A7X played third and they got to play with ramps and had screen shows while they performed. They were also crowd-friendly, talking with us and even taking requests. Unfortunately, my aching feet and cottonmouth forced me to leave the floor after they finished playing and I bought things at the merch table: I got a Papa Roach poster, a t-shirt with all of the bands, and wristbands of both Papa Roach and Avenged Sevenfold. After that, I went back inside to sit down after 4 hours of standing and watch Buckcherry perform. I only knew 3 songs, but I supported them the best I could.
After the concert ended, my friends and I met the guys of Rev Theory outside. They were so sweet and took pictures with Shelby and me; once I get a cord for my camera, I'll upload them to my myspace. All in all, it was a great night besides the fatigue I'm suffering from today and I can't wait to see these bands again.

This is pretty awesome

YouTube's starting to suck again; barely any of the videos I try to watch work at all. Luckily for me, this awesome video of Simba and Kovu with the Yu-Gi-Oh song "Panik" was able to work. I say I was luck because it was awesome and the video actually worked well with the song.

My ring and our former president

I got my class ring today!! It's absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to show it off to people tomorrow. I was going to take pictures of it and post them on here, but my camera's almost full and I can't find the cord to it.
I refound a hilarious video of Bush and Condi having the most ridiculous discussion: Hu's in China!!

Pobre mi!

I twisted my ankle a few hours ago while trying to leave the house. After sitting and whining about it for a few minutes, I got up and went to HEB, Dollar General, and Wal Mart; someone should give me a cheap medal. I've been home since and propped it up with ice, but it's started hurting even worse and we can't find the crutches. I just hope they didn't end up the way my Twilight posters did, or I really might have to raid a room.

10 MORE DAYS!!!

Just ten more days until I can see my favorite band, Papa Roach, in concert with Buckcherry and Avenged Sevenfold! To mentally prepare myself for this undeniable experience of musical greatness, I have download two of Avenged Sevenfold's albums, which are amazing. I'll admit, I didn't understand A7X fascination many of my friends had, but once I saw "Beast and the Harlot" I was converted. Papa Roach is still number one for me, but Avenged has found themselves a permanent place on my iPod.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

The day is here!!!

This is it!! It's March 24, the day that Papa Roach's new album, Metamorphosis, is released! I just got back from buying a copy and let me tell you, it's already amazing! I knew the boys wouldn't let their fans down. The music is banging, the lyrics are great, and my soul is revived! The live show can only be flippin' amazing at this point. This album is totally worth the buy, so go to Best Buy and get the explicit version or buy it on iTunes or something.

She's a witch!

So yeah, in one of my English classes we're looking up facts about the Salem Witch Trials, something I lost interest in very quickly. So my friend/rival, Creed, and I found an interactive game where we saw if we could survive the trials. We played it, of course, and our games followed the same story line for the most part: go to a bar, the afflicted b**ches tripped out and accused us, sat in jail, then went to trial. The magistrate asked me so many retarded questions that were totally unconstitutional; if only the Constitution existed then. When they finally asked me to confess, Creed said he was a witch and I said no. Creed testified against an innocent old lady, went to jail for a year, then got released; I had 40 people, my son, and a farmer kid sign a petition saying that I was a frequent churchgoer and a good person, and I still got hanged! It was so stupid and the entire class watched as I accused the computer and Boston to be racist. So now Creed and I go through the halls and call each other a witch. Lovely, huh?
I'm also looking at these people's wikipedia pages, and I hate these afflicted girls even more. They were, what, 9-12? Plus they were experimenting with substances. I think they were on a trip and didn't want to admit it. Stupid kids and their games.

Our poodle's a G

Our toy poodle, Buddy, may be a dork sometimes, but when it comes down to it, he's a thug. Sure he's slid into various kitchen appliances and was so absorbed in running that he ran into a lawn chair, but he just survived a stabbing by a plastic sword wielded by a...5-year old. Okay, maybe he's not a G, but he is a survivor. Here's to Buddy!!!

Wrote a rap today

I don't even know how it came about. I sat down to write a song and wrote a few lines, but after a while it became clear that what I was writing was not the kind of song I usually write. It was weird, I had beats in my head and everything. I had just got through telling someone I couldn't rap or even write a hip hop song and two periods later wrote an entire rap verse. I like it, it makes sense and shows some of my cleverness, but I don't know if it's something I want to keep doing like my other songs. I might dabble, but it might just be a hobby. I might put it up here, but probably not.
I also realized what a hardcore soccer fan I am at away games. I was yelling, cheering, and acting like a fool at our high school away game tonight. I was rewarded though: one of my favorite players got so frustrated at our loss that he took off his shirt and had to walk around to cool off, which had the opposite effect on me. If someone could guarantee that would happen at every game, I would manage our team lol.

Veggies:1, Meat:0

I know i'm late, but I finally saw PETA's Vegetarian commercial that was rejected by the Superbowl. Hot women aren't enough to make me go vegetarian, but the Beef Council's response almost was.

Yay! Give Blood!

I'm officially a blood donor as of today, yay!!! Today we had a blood drive at school and, although I had to leave for a while the first time I came, I got to actually give blood the second time I came. I'm definitely going to do it again.

A new poem

I haven't titled this yet, and I probably won't. It's about a guy (of course) and I don't mean the negative parts. This is raw material and I hope everyone respects me by acknowledging that this is my work.

I wish I didn't love you
I wish I didn't care
I wish I didn't miss you
Even when you're there

You make me want to laugh
When you leave, I want to cry
You always make me happy
Without having to try

It hurts me when you leave
Without saying a thing
'Cause that hour means so much to me
More than you would think

You're more than just a friend to me
You are my shining sun
That makes my day warm and bright
You're the only one

Unfortunately, I love you
And everything you do
And even though it sucks sometimes
I can't give up on you

It's definitely not my best work, but this is the best I could do in the 5 minutes I have.

Very clever, Ms. Spears

"If U Seek Amy" was very clever, I have to give props to Britney Spears for this, whether she wrote it or not. It's been said the song spells out a sexual message, see if you can spot it. It took me a few minutes to figure it out.

Happy B-Day!!!

It's Hyde's b-day everybody!! The beautiful Asian vocalist of L'Arc~en~ciel has turned 40, and still looks like he's just pushing 30. He hasn't married me yet, but I feel like celebrating my boo's special day. Here're some videos in his honor.
Gackt & Hyde interview, speaking English, and talking about driving.

Darin

That's all I really have to say. Here's his video "Breathing Your Love" with Kat De Luna. I want KAt's dress; if only I was a few pounds lighter...

Friday, January 16, 2009

Okay, I feel better now

Now for some videos. I'm on a Darin thing at the moment, a Swedish musician. This boy's got lungs, to the max. He's one of the most beautiful male singers I've ever heard and almost every one of his songs are on my iPod. Here are some of his fantabulous videos: "Money for Nothing", "Who's That Girl", and him performing "Unbreak My Heart" by Toni Braxton on Sweden Idol.
